A 12-meter, tree-ring-folded artist’s book
paired with twigs-and-plaster balance sculptures. Developed through walking,
studies of the mutual loading of twigs,
and feedback into drawing, it presents images
in flexible deformation, addressing
migration and rootlessness while
inviting a sense of balance and symbiosis.

between absurdity and instinct.
Beginning with a moment of “daydreaming
against the wall,” it captures the drift and
return of consciousness and invites
you to ask again in the cracks of reality:

Through an absurd fable, the work
imagines a world of unequal power relations,
uses metaphor to portray real-world power
and oppression, reflects the predicaments
faced by young people entering society,
and invites viewers to consider
structural problems that are hard to eradicate.
