The images arise from on-site walking practice and my experiments with branch-balance sculpture. I keep the branches in their natural state, observe their growth logic, orientation, and load, combine them with plaster to create balanced structural sculptures, and then feed these experiences and images back into linear drawing, allowing sculptural making and image production to closely corroborate one another.

The book adopts an accordion structure modeled on the concentric rings of a tree stump; the act of reading feels like peeling back the story layer by layer along a path of time.
